For a no-bake Christmas treat, pour white chocolate over pretzels and top with crushed candy canes! Combine it with some handmade peppermint bark in a festive tin.
Despite the fact that I am not a big lover of peppermint, I find myself baking with it a lot around the holidays. I transform into Buddy the Elf, and my primary dietary categories change to sweets, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup.
To make Peppermint White Chocolate Pretzels, I wanted to add a little minty flavor to one of my favorite fast and simple holiday treats!
Typically, I cover pretzels with oil, cinnamon, and brown sugar before coating them in white chocolate. I needed a fast snack to bring to a Yankee exchange at my workplace the following day, and this is my go-to dish when I’m short on time.
Unfortunately, I was out of cinnamon (I have no idea how that occurred), so I began looking around the cupboard to see what else I might create.
I really wanted white chocolate and pretzels, but I felt that just those two things would be too dull. Sprinkles? Meh. I didn’t have any holiday-themed bottles on hand. I discovered a bottle of peppermint extract, but it was ineffective.
Yes, I did say pizazz. Make it your day’s word.
I was about to give up when I remembered I had been given a box of candy canes, and they were still in my vehicle! I dashed out to my vehicle, unwrapped a few, and went to work.

It’s so simple, you guys. Seriously. Even putting together a recipe for this makes me feel like I’m talking down to you. Please don’t take it that way; I’m just trying to be consistent!
You’ll note in some of the photos that there are some dark chocolate coated pretzels as well. I felt like going to the dark side. Perhaps it’s because Star Wars is coming out this week.
